Being an Altar Server is a special privilege for our young people.  Serving at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is a vital part of faith formation as well as the growth of vocations for our Priests, Deacons, and Religious.

This course will help you prepare to not only learn the Mass, but to pray the Mass as well.

  • What to wear, what to say, why we say the responses we do, and generally how to be properly disposed to Pray the Mass
  • The various parts of the Mass and the roles of each Server such as Candle Bearer, Cross Bearer, Book Bearer, Bell Ringer, Thurifer
